Fourteen girls were selected to this year’s All-County lacrosse team. Players were selected by Lambert coach Aaron Daniels, North Forsyth coach Jill Short, South Forsyth coach Katie Richelt and West Forsyth coach Dan Kaplan.

Lacrosse continues to gain traction in Forsyth County, with four of the county’s five GHSA schools now sponsoring the sport. The girls teams at West and South both recorded wins in the 2010 playoffs, with the Lady Wolverines making it all the way to the state final in Class A-AAAA.

Highlights: 20 goals, four assists
Daniels: “Grace played with an instinctive competitive focus which is something that can’t be coached.”
