South Forsyth’s boys golf team finished as runner up at the Burke County/Taylormade-Adidas Invitational on Saturday.
The War Eagles finished with a team total of 308 points — tied for first — to best 24 of the top golf programs in the state.
South’s Brian Bowes shot a team-low 74 (two over-par) to finish in a tie for fifth place individually.
Matt Mierzejeweski and Hunter Alexander both finished at 76, while Marc Edel finished with an 82 to round out the team total.
